To continue to comply with the requirements of the Vocational Education Training Authority [VETA] and to provide the students with an even better learning environment the following expansion plans have been developed jointly with BONFAREMO (www.bonfaremo.org).
Construction of a new library - split of current dormitory into two separate rooms + purchasing of needed furniture.
COST: 2.900.000 TSH = 1.500 EUR
STATUS: The library was officially opened to the students on September 21st. Thank you for your support in providing our students with a designated study area.
Construction of a well to provide the Centre with an independent, continuous and reliable water supply promoting financial independence and continued operation.
COST: 2.800.000 TSH = 1.400 EUR
STATUS: Work on the new well has been completed (35 meters), allowing us to guarantee that in future we will not be impeded by water shortages!
Renovation and expansion of the existent dining hall into a feast hall. After one of the walls of the dining hall collapsed due to termites and storm, an evaluation of renovation costs rendered that turning the dining hall into a rentable feast hall would only result in minor additional costs. First ceremonies have already been booked.
COST: 4.000.000 TSH = 2.000 EUR outstanding
STATUS: Work is on going, with only minor ornamental work remaining.
Construction of a new dormitory to accommodate increasing number of students and enable the renovation of the second half of the existent dormitory into a classroom.
COST: 12.000.000 TSH = 6.000 EUR

Construction of a new classroom for prospective cooks – turn 2nd half of existent dormitory into a classroom allowing to accomodate a further profession at Malage and generate additional profit
through catering any events taking place in the new feast hall.
COST: 4.200.000 TSH = 2.000 EUR

In accordance with the governments future oriented initiative "kilimo kwa nza" (agriculture first) management at Malage is aspiring to open a new branch focused on farming and livestock.
Necessary land approximating to 26 acres has already been acquired and is to be turned into a school for prospective farmers.
COST: 24.000.000 TSH = 12.500 EUR
